VIOPAC OVERDRIVE PRESSREADER

We have three types of digital catalogues for our library members which can be accessed on our website. If you are not a member of SALB you can register as a member here. If you are unsure of your membership status or login credentials or if you have any questions please contact us.

Additional Information About Our Catalogues

VIOPAC
Visually Impaired Online Public Access Catalogue is an online electronic library catalogue offered to members by the South African Library for the Blind which is screen reader friendly.

The catalogue allows members to be able to search for titles using author, title or subject which affords members a much simpler way to search for reading material.

OVERDRIVE
An audio library catalogue which is powered by ‘Overdrive’ which allows members to search/browse all titles with ease.

Members can loan audio books for a period of two weeks and these can be download or listened to online at leisure.

PRESSREADER
PressReader is a digital newspaper distribution and technology channel distributing over 7000 digital newspapers and magazines from around the globe. Our members will get access to some of the world's top publications as soon as they're available on shelves. For your access, the SALB subscription helps support the production of quality journalism, both internationally and locally.
